I love everything about this place!! I really appreciate their service model, too- you put your name in and once the reliable is ready, you place your order at the front. We ordered a variety of dishes, and the wings, ube pancakes, ube latte, and banh mi skillet. I want to go back and try everything else- it all looked sooo good. The owner came over and greeted us and was very friendly. It was a great experience again and I plan to come back the next time we are in Seattle!

i loved m cozy!!! delicious food!! i was craving food & refreshing drink as it was a very hot day. the chicken was juicy & crispy, and the waffles were chewy and sweet -- they had it all. i loved the coffee (i believe it's coffeeholic??) the ube foam is coconutty & fun, and the coffee is the perfect mixture of strong/sweet. planning on introducing all my visiting friends to come here!! it was so cute inside & the people were so sweet to let me sit and wait for my friend inside. the ube waffles are next on my list!

Very cute cafe! The food was delicious and looked amazing. The thai tea toast didn't have much of the "thai tea" flavor but I still liked it. Drinks were good as well. I'd get them again!

When I first moved to Seattle from Orange County I really missed having the option of a quality Asian fusion brunch spot, so I was very excited when I started hearing news about M Cozy. It was giving Nep Cafe (one of my favorite Asian fusion brunch spots in OC) so I knew I had to pay a visit! I came with two other friends on a Sunday morning at around 11 AM and the place was full, but we only waited about 10 minutes since we were luckily first in line for a table. The ambiance was nice overall, the workers were very friendly, and the owner was walking around and making conversation with everyone. One drawback though, was that our table was missing a piece to one of the legs so it was very wobbly/unstable. We each ordered creme brulee egg coffees and I got the Banh Mi Chao while my friends got the Viet chicken wings and pandan waffle. We all agreed the Banh Mi Chao was super tender and tasted similar in quality to one you could get in OC. I tried a bite of the Viet chicken wings which had a nice juicy flavor, but the pandan waffle could definitely use a stronger pandan taste in my opinion. The egg coffees definitely stole the show though- they tasted like authentic Vietnamese egg coffee with the perfect amount of sweetness and we especially enjoyed the smokey creme brulee top. I honestly do not think I have had a better Vietnamese egg coffee since moving to Seattle - I even ordered another one to go for my boyfriend! (do note that they cannot add the creme brulee top to togo orders as the torch would melt the plastic cup) Overall, I would definitely come back for their egg coffee if I found myself in the area and would dine in if craving Banh Mi Chao (but would pass on the chicken and waffles).

Probably one of the top brunch spots I've been to in quite awhile! We were lucky to eat here on a Saturday morning without too much of a crowd (probably because UW is on summer break), ordered at the counter, and sat down right away. There are mostly small tables for groups of 2-4, but there are a few spots where you might be able to squeeze in more. My favorite dish was the pandan chicken and waffles. Chicken wings and mini drumstick pieces were super juicy, meaty, and a great balance of salty and sweet. French bread that came with the morning plate was soft and flaky and fresh. Drink options are on-point, since they're owned by Coffeeholic. Our service that day was super quick. The shop owner came out to chat with customers, and you can tell how much passion they put into what they do. Make sure to walk off the food coma afterwards by hanging out around UVillage for awhile! Next time I will be coming back to try more dishes, and also the yummy pastries they have behind the display.

Recently opened cafe/brunch spot near UVillage and next to Dough Zone. Been hearing a lot about this place from my friends so i had to check it out when some of my out-of-town friends were visiting and wanted to get brunch. I believe the owners of this joint also own the Coffeeholic cafe as well. The food here is really good! Interesting take on some American Classics. My friends and i ordered the Ube pancakes, Beef Stew and the Chicken and waffles. In order, out favorites were the beef stew, chicken and waffles and then ube pancakes. You hear beef stew and think it would be heavy right? Nope. It was light and delicious. Came with a baguette which we used to soak up the stew. The chicken was waffles were delicious as well. I believe the chicken was made with some fish sauce. You taste it but it did not overpower the flavor of the chicken. The waffles are made with pandan. Not entirely sure what pandan tasted like but we enjoyed it nonetheless. The Ube pancakes were good as well. Came with a side of coconut milk and ube jam. Also order some coffee from here as well and they were pretty good. The water, plates, utensils are all self serve besides the counter. The cafe is pretty spacious and very aesthetic. Plenty of tables to just order some coffee and study or work away. Parking isn't too great as you can either street park or park in the garage that is in the same plaza (not the Uvillage garage across the street). A little pricey but would definitely come by every now and then. 4.5/5

I love that there is another Asian inspired brunch spot in Seattle! From reviews, I was concerned about a line but it was not busy at all on Friday 11:30am, approaching peak lunch time. Parking is street parking, but some people also park in the UVillage parking structure across the street and walk over, but do that at your own risk since they warn about the car can be towed if you are not shopping or dining in UVillage. We got the tiramisu egg coffee, coco-ube latte, chicken and pandan waffles, and banh mi chao. The coffee is excellent as expected, since after all, this is a restaurant by Coffeeholic. However, the cookie that came with it was a bit stale; it's probably like a biscuit cookie regardless. The chicken and pandan waffles were a hit too - the pandan waffles had a more subtle pandan flavor but the chicken wings were amazing - fried and in fish sauce. I personally love this a lot more than the American chicken and waffles variation; aside from flavor profile, this place does it better with the chicken not being dry at all. The banh mi chao is a fairly hearty dish, with a large baguette served for you to dip into the dish featuring pate, ribeye chunks, egg, and cha lua. A miss is that the egg is overcooked, not the runny kind that is featured. The set up for dining is more fast casual, where you serve the water yourself and order first before you get seated. I can see that to be a slight issue when the restaurant gets busy, so you have to end up waiting in line for a while to order to be seated.

I'm a fan of Coffeeholic, I'm highly impressed that they started during the peak of pandemic and is already on their 4th venture with this new brunch concept. They carry most of their drink menu here but now offer food! Their popular menu item would probably be banh mi chao, it's a common Vietnamese breakfast item that's basically a deconstructive banh mi. You have all your protein such as steak, egg, pate, Vietnamese ham in a hot skillet and a baguette bread on the side to dip it in. We ordered shaking beef, wings, and ube pancake. All the food was so so GOOD. I am not typically a pancake or dessert person, I personally think most places probably just throw in some purple coloring and calls it ube because ube flavor is trending hard right now, but their ube pancake hits the spot. It comes with coconut shavings on top and you can pour condense milk over it, ahhh chef kiss! This place does get busy; you line up and order/pay at the front counter and then have a seat and they will bring out your food and bus your table. There is a QR code on the table in case you need to order more. I like how they do not take your order until an available table is confirm first, it makes it not awkward having to stand with your food ready but waiting for somebody to leave to finally sit down. Small cozy spot for how busy it gets, but very cute and aesthetic. Highly recommended if you are in the U Village area, or if you're like me and is willing to commute to check it out! Tell me about your experience if you've been here or is going to after reading this review:)
